Just one film last night, but it was a good one. I saw a documentary called "Bearing Witness." It's about 5 women who were journalists working in Iraq when the war began. They each talk about their experiences as war correspondents, but also about what it means to be a woman in a job like that and how it has affected their personal lives. So, so interesting! I just loved all of the women, but especially Marie Colvin, who is a senior foreign correspondent for the Sunday Times of London. She was just so confident and calm in the middle of some highly charged and dangerous situations. The film was financed by A&E and appeared on that channel last year. It's also
available on DVD. I would highly recommend it.
